New course Starting in October 2025!

Are you looking to be a better doctor in general and become a leader in your community? Applied Kinesiology(AK) is a specialized area that incorporates many different disciplines such as chiropractic, neurology, osteopathy, functional medicine and nutrition, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and many others. It employs the amazing tool of diagnostic muscle testing to traditional examination methods and can find issues within the structural, chemical, and emotional components of the body.

In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of manual muscle testing and all of its wonderful applications from orthopedic and sports medicine to neurology and its enhancement of chiropractic. Nutrition and functional medicine demonstrate how to use the nervous system to find hidden problems and get the best results when treating them.

One of the biggest issues after graduating from Chiropractic College is confidence in your adjusting skills and diagnosis. It can remain for several years before the doctor becomes confident in his/her skills and there is a level of apprehension and fear in the early years of practice. We are taught the basics of palpation and diagnostic deduction through symptom constellations/physical exam in order to determine what the diagnosis is and how we are going to treat it. AK is a masterful tool that enables even the newly graduated or experienced DC to diagnose and adjust with the confidence of expert physician. It literally takes the guesswork out of practice and maximizes your potential!

The course includes pre-course videos that introduce you to the didactics and lecture material. This allows for more hands on workshop time during the live seminar. This is helpful in getting people using the weekend’s skills training on Monday with their patients. The course is five weekends and ends with an exam (written and practical) which will earn you certification in the fundamentals of AK. With that certification, you can access the Facebook group where some of the best minds in medicine congregate.

He went on to teach seminars in Dublin, Milan, Munich, Stockholm, Goteburg, London, Madrid, among others. Dr. Kurtz brings together all that he has learned over 20 years into this course.
