InvisaRed®

Uses controlled cooling (cryolipolysis).
Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than surrounding tissues. The treated fat cells are gradually broken down and removed over weeks to months. Temporary numbness, bruising, swelling, and soreness can occur. Rare complications such as paradoxical adipose hyperplasia have been reported. This method tends to be somewhat painful.
SculpSure®
Uses a 1060 nm diode laser to heat adipose tissue while cooling the skin surface. Heat is intended to damage fat cells, which are then removed by the body over several weeks.
truSculpt®
Uses radiofrequency energy to heat tissue beneath the skin, aiming to reduce fat and tighten tissue. The treatment relies on thermal energy rather than low-level laser photobiomodulation.
Zerona®
Uses a 635 nm low-level laser for non-invasive body contouring. Like InvisaRed, it uses low-level laser light rather than thermal injury, although it uses a different wavelength configuration and treatment protocol.
EMSCULPT®
Uses high-intensity electromagnetic fields to create supramaximal muscle contractions. Its primary effect is muscle strengthening and toning, with some associated reduction in fat. It is not a laser treatment.
